Furthermore, Carbon Assets reserves the right to refuse entry to any delegates at its own discretion without having to give a reason. In the instance where these delegates have paid their ticket costs will be refunded but are subject to a 10% administration fee. It is the policy of Carbon Assets that service providers meaning representatives of organisations offering services to delegates such as legal, accounting, consultancies, brokers, will not be allowed into CEPEC as delegates, they may attend instead as exhibitors by ordering a stand or to be a sponsor but they may be refused permission to attend as delegates and would receive a refund should they pay online subject to a 10% administration charge. In the instance that service providers have paid to attend CEPEC online, they may be contacted by the organisers and informed that they must upgrade as exhibitors or will receive a refund. CEPEC or CEPEC SHOWCASE is for the benefit of investors and not to be used as a platform for service providers to network among investor and cleantech company delegates unless they attend as sponsors or exhibitors. Further to this the organisers of 'CEPEC' or 'CEPEC SHOWCASE' may refuse to distribute all or any marketing materials including company power point presentations shown at CEPEC to non investor delegates such as service providers. Furthermore presentations are distributed to CEPEC delegates at the discretion of the organisers and as such the organisers of CEPEC are under no obligation to distribute such presentation materials either during or after CEPEC events to any delegates CEPEC organisers do this at their own discretion and not out of any obligation as the event organsiers. Payment by delegates to the CEPEC events does not include receiving company presentations after the event. At the discretion of Carbon Assets personnel, delegates who come to CEPEC without suitable business attire will be refused entry but may return suitably dressed later in the day. Specifically, delegates wearing casual dress such as trainers, jeans, or any other items of clothing not suitable for a managerial level business gathering shall be refused entry. All such refunds will be subject to a 10% administration charge. All other delegate tickets purchased for the CEPEC conference are non-refundable. Carbon Assets does not guarantee speakers or delegates the number of delegates that attend any particular event which it has organised. In the instance where fewer delegates turn up on the day than sponsors, speakers, sponsors or delegates expect then Carbon Assets is under no obligation to offer refunds to either speakers, sponsors or delegates. Carbon Assets markets all its events in good faith with the purpose of attracting as many delegates as it can to its events with the resources available to it within reason. Carbon Assets may advertise the room capacity for an event but makes no deliberate reference to the numbers of attendees it expects at that event. Carbon Assets offers sponsors and speakers the opportunity to present to professional investors within their sector but makes no guarantees of their numbers. Presenting Companies Companies that present at CEPEC or CEPEC Showcase must adhere to the terms of a written agreement between Carbon Assets and such companies, to be signed before the event. Presenting companies who do not return such agreements in time or who do not confirm acceptance of these terms of the agreement in time may be removed from the agenda at the discretion of Carbon Assets who agree to inform such companies of such action. Presenting companies must also submit power point presentations to Carbon Assets before a specified date issued by Carbon Assets. In the event that a presenting company has submitted their power point presentation on time and the company subsequently submits new slides or a new presentation to Carbon Assets after such date being the deadline for submission Carbon Assets, are under no obligation to alter the original slides originally presented on the original deadline. Furthermore, presentations are uploaded onto the AV system of the venue before the date of the event, Carbon Assets take no responsibility in the event that slides are missing, uploaded incorrectly or require formatting. Carbon Assets keeps these presentations in house for safekeeping and is not responsible for these presentations being lost or stolen. The understanding between Carbon Assets and the presenting companies is that these presentation slides will not be purposely misled or lost by Carbon Assets. Carbon Assets with the written permission of the author agrees to distribute such slides to event delegates who request these after the event date. In the event that all slides are posted online and all delegates are invited to view them then Carbon Assets shall first inform and seek consent of this action from all the relevant presenting companies. Some presenting companies will speak at the event without the use of a power point. 12th CEPEC SHOWCASE is a private event for LP's and is a half day event on Friday the 14th of December 2018 held in London. At the event a group of hand picked pre-vetted innovative cleantech companies each have 15 minutes to make a powerpoint presentation to a room of 'green' specialist investors for the purpose of raising finance seed or growth capital, room capacity is 100. CEPEC SHOWCASE has entered it's 5th year and has secured over £22 million of funding directly and indirectly for its presenting companies and continues to successfully connect industry professionals to one another in a friendly professional setting. A must for investors seeking to own shares in innovative cleantech businesses and a great opportunity to meet industry leaders. CEPEC Showcase offers an outstanding forum to network as well as the opportunity to become part of some of the most scalebale and grounbreaking companies in Europe. Investments range from £500K-£5M entry level may be as low as £20,000.
