New for Winter/Spring 2021, The London Ambler presents a season of online events exploring the linear history of London's Roman Roads and their evolution as part of the contemporary city! The series follows the journey of six of the capital's epic arterial routes from the centre of town out to the city's limits uncovering architecture, settlement and change over the past 2,000 years along the way!

This walk explores the linear history, architecture and settlement of Clapham Road - aka the A3, aka. Stane Street - the historic Roman route south westwards to Chichester between Elephant and Castle and Ewell via Blaham, Tooting and Merton!
