About this event

There's nothing quite like live music and time in nature to help you relax. The Sunday Acoustic Sessions at HARTA retreat offer just that - a chilled afternoon with fantastic music in a stunning setting. Whether it's a smooth acoustic guitar or a powerful voice, these sessions are all about good music, good company and nature.

We're thrilled that the legendary Jim Crawford will be joining us as a regular monthly performer for these Sunday Acoustic Sessions. A stalwart of the British blues and roots scene for over 35 years, Jim has played extensively across the UK, Ireland, France, Switzerland, and the USA. His ballad "When the Rains Came" was recorded by Beth Rowley on her hit album "Little Dreamer", and he has released 3 albums: Blues Boys, When the Rains Came, and Roots & Originals.

Jim is revered among professional musician as a phenomal finger picker and slide guitarist and will captivate you with his intimate folk/blues style.

📍 Where's HARTA?

Situated between Ilfracombe and Combe Martin we're a little off the beaten track, but easily reached by car. Public transport? Not quite caught up yet (classic Devon), so car shares are a good shout. For groups of 4 or more, we'll keep your designated driver happy with free soft drinks.

*All Sunday sessions are free entry, though we encourage donations to the artist. These contributions are voluntary, but without your generosity, the adventure may be short-lived. Your support helps keep the music flowing!
