Working in partnership with parents/carers, setting the scene and gathering relevant information before a child starts at your setting.

The links between child development, previous experiences, the learning environment and behaviour.

What to do when there are concerns about a child's behaviour, including:

  • Evaluating the environment
  • Strategies and sources of further support
  • When to consider referrals to outside agencies
