The first week will commence: Mon 9th November - Friday 13th November

The second week will commence: Mon 23rd November - Thursday 26th November

The exam will be on Tuesday 1st December and will be accessible online, through CILT’s secure portal.

Course Details

The Transport Manger CPC Qualification course will enable the delegate to receive a formal Transport Manager CPC qualification should they pass the two required exams.

The CILT CPC qualification is currently a lifetime award, which means that, once obtained, the qualification will not expire, and holders will be considered professionally competent for the rest of their lives. A candidate achieving a Certificate of Professional Competence in Road Haulage has the following progression routes available:• enter the profession of Transport Manager• undertake higher level qualifications part-time or full-time in further or higher education, e.g. HNC, HND, degree• undertake additional complementary qualifications in the workplace e.g. Level 3 Certificate in Logistics Operations or Level 3 NVQ Certificate in Management.

Who should attend the course?

The course is suitable for delegates looking to become Transport Managers/Fleet Managers Course Content

CILT’s CPCs Road Haulage and Passenger Transport each consist of a single multiple-choice assessment and a single case study assessment.

Students will need to pass two examinations to gain the Certificate of Professional Competence for Road Haulage OR the Certificate of Professional Competence for Passenger Transport. Both elements test national and international knowledge and application. So, to achieve an International CPC, candidates will only need to pass two units. Units will be graded Pass or Fail.

Through CILT there will be six exam series a year, February, April, June, August, October and December with the exam day being held on the first Tuesday of these months. The exam consists of 2 papers with paper 1 held in the morning and paper 2 in the afternoon.

Course Cost

The cost for the 9 days of training is £950+vat. This price includes examination fees and materials cost

Exam Date

The exam date is on the 1st December 2020 and will be hosted online through CILT’s examination portal.
