Claire Bryce is a Highland Dancing teacher, international judge and competition and Highland games organiser. Claire teaches classes in Inverness and Drumnadrochit, however, is currently using Zoom.
Classes are open from complete beginners to championship dancers - from the age of 2 years upwards.
Claire has been dancing since she was 3 years old, and as a competitor has won championships and also qualified for the Cowal Games World Highland Dancing Championships. She has been a teacher for 23 years and a judge for 15 years.
Her dancers have danced and won prizes at competitions and championships all over the world (Scotland, Canada, USA and Australia) and they have also danced at display events in Bulgaria and Kazakhstan. Claire was delighted to dance at the opening ceremonies of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and one of her pupils danced at the closing ceremonies - this was an amazing experience and great fun.
Claire also teaches Highland Hustle classes, these are cross between fitness and highland dance - incorporating some fitness moves with basic highland dance movements and steps.
