The ability to clearly, confidently and credibly talk about your business idea is an essential skill as an creative and entrepreneur, whether that is face to face with one person or many, or online using video. In this session Mel Sherwood will share tips from her book “The Authority Guide to Pitching Your Business: How to make an impact and be remembered…in under a minute!” and her proven RED Presentation Formula.

The workshop will cover:

• Identifying and using your transferrable skills to explain your business idea

• Adapting your message for different audiences

• Tips for communicating effectively online

• Ensuring your communication is confident, clear, relevant and engaging

Please note: This is not a passive online workshop - you will get the most out of the session if you come along prepared to participate fully in the discussions.

Mel Sherwood is a Pitch and Presentation Specialist and Founder of The RED Effect. She works with a range of people including creatives, entrepreneurs and business professionals who want to express themselves with confidence, credibility and charisma. Mel’s first book ‘The Authority Guide to Pitching Your Business’ was nominated for a Business Book of the Year Award, and she is currently working on her second book. An Australian now based in Scotland, Mel is an award-winning speaker, trainer and coach and combines over 25 years’ experience in business with a background as an actor, presenter and singer.
