About this event

Led by our Wilder Communities Ranger, John Attiwell, join us at Maldon Wick, for a gentle walk down these disused railway lines which once connected Maldon with Woodham Ferrers. Weather permitting, some of our special late summer butterflies should still be on the wing, and we may encounter some migratory birds, while our breeding birds are forming up into the small flocks with which they will spend the Autumn and Winter. An introductory walk for those curious about visiting nature reserves, but who do not know where to start.  Please note there are no facilities on site. Meeting point will be sent by email prior to the event.

Thanks to Active Maldon this is a free event but advanced booking is essential.  Places are limited.  If you book a place and are no longer able to attend, please let us know so we can offer the place to someone else.
