Working with individuals affected by suicidality and domestic abuse can be emotionally demanding. This 60-minute interactive and practical webinar provides a safe space for professionals to explore the personal and professional toll of this work, and to strengthen and embed self-care skills and strategies needed to sustain wellbeing over time.

Grounded in trauma-informed and compassion-focused approaches, the session offers practical tools to:

  • Recognise signs of negative stress, vicarious trauma and burnout
  • Practise simple but powerfully effective self-regulation techniques
  • Connect with what brings wellbeing and a sense of purpose

This webinar is ideal for frontline workers as well as Staff attending safeguarding panels e.g. Domestic Abuse Related Death Reviews, Safeguarding Adults Reviews, Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews, Serious Case Reviews, Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conferences.

This free webinar is exclusively available to professionals working within Hampshire County Council (this is the county of Hampshire, excluding Portsmouth and Southampton) and Isle of Wight Council areas.
