GCSE Biology course live online weekly classes for year 9 - 11 students

About this event

Biology is the study of living things and by studying the GCSE Biology course students will gain an insight into the natural world.

This course will help students with the revision on the GCSE Biology:

We make sure that every aspect of GCSE Biology is provided with engaging and informative teaching.

The course allows students to learn and experience biology within the context of their general education.

Live classes run once a week. Each session runs from 16:00 to 17:00 on Saturday via Microsoft Teams.

In this course we will go over the following concepts:

13th August – The Nervous System and Reflex Arcs

20th August – The Brain

27th August – The Eye

3rd September – Hormonal Responses

BREAK – 10th September

17th September – Regulating Body Temperature

24th September – Diabetes

1st October – They Kidneys

8th October – Reproductive Organs and Fertility

BREAK – 15th October

22nd October – Plant Hormones

29th October – Homeostasis and Response SUMMARY

5th November – Biotic and Abiotic Adaptations

12th November – Biomass and Food Security

BREAK – 19th November

26th November – Global Warming and Biodiversity

3rd December – Sexual and Asexual Reproduction

10th December – Genes, DNA and Chromosomes

17th December – Variation and Natural Selection

For each topic, we will go through the concepts and past question papers .

After each session has finished we will send you the access links to course material for the session. This will include
