The Ardley Energy Recovery facility began operation in 2014 and can deal with 378,000 tonnes of non-recyclable waste each year. Come and hear how it diverts at least 95% of Oxfordshire’s residual municipal waste away from landfill and generates enough electricity to power the equivalent of over 80,000 homes. This tour is for 15 people only and will require attendees to walk up several flights of stairs and be on their feet for over an hour. All visitors must wear the protective gear provided.
