15 Steps for Maternity, Wigan

15 Steps for Maternity, Wigan

By Voices For Choices CIC

Overview

Join us for a walk around Wigan's Maternity Unit. Share your views on how it looks, feels, smells and sounds.

Meet at the entrance to the Royal Albert Edward Infirmary (clock tower entrance) at 10am.

Parking details will be provided in advance of the event. Parking is paid for on arrival, we will reimburse this for you.

We'll then split into teams and walk around, taking note of how it feels to be there from a service user perspective. We'll be asking you to consider what is working well, and what could be better. We will then feed that back to the maternity team over some light refreshments.

All of our feedback will go into our workplan for the next year.

Babies in slings are welcome, but we can't accommodate any older children to keep them and everyone else safe. However, please note: no under 16s will be allowed to visit the neonatal unit as part of this vist. You don't have to have given birth to attend, as long as you have used maternity services (e.g. have been or are currently pregnant). Partners are also welcome!

Any questions before the event, please email nicola@voicesforchoices.org.uk.
