In this class you will make a festive houses themed wall hanging you will adorn the hanging with hand crafted fabric ornaments.
In the class you will learn a combination of hand-crafted techniques to create your decorative fabric wall hanging.
What will I learn?
You will learn how to create a festive house themed wall hanging, creating a hand- crafted Christmas decoration.
You will be given a festive house template that will be a guide to creating the fabric house decorations and a prepared fabric bases to work on.
You will be using applique and simplistic embroidery stitches and using various hand dyed fabrics, reclaimed printed fabrics, embroidery thread, reclaimed fabrics, voile, reclaimed vintage lace and ribbon.
You will learn fabric art methods to make each individual house for the wall hanging. The finished hand-crafted houses will then be attached to a metal hanger with ribbon and lastly adding embellishments to pull the festive house themed fabric wall hanging together.
This beautifully hand-crafted festive house themed decoration can be used as a keeps sake or give as a beautifully hand-crafted gift.
