Welcome to the Rainbow Mind Young LGBTQ+ Rainbow Room. This is a welcoming and accepting space for young LBGTQ+ people aged 17-24 to connect, share and explore mental health and wellbeing.
This group is not able to be a mental health crises support service. If you need more immediate, intensive support please scroll down to the bottom of the page for information.
- This is an online queer space run by and for members who identify as LGBTQ+, or, for those who exploring gender, sexuality, identity and relationship diversity.
- At Rainbow Mind we also understand that our identities and lives change and evolve and there is no need to feel you have to be a certain way, or fit a certain box.
- All parts of you are welcome.
- Our team are experienced in creating safe online spaces for young LGBTQ+ people to meet, connect, share and support each other. Oh, and we really like music - so we'll be playing some of that too!
- Input always welcome and you are free to participate in the chat in any way you feel safe to do so. Feel like turning camera off - that's fine, feeling like you want to stay quiet - fine as well, want to share a poem, painting or magic trick - you are very welcome!
- We will also be available to answer questions about the other forms of mental health support we have available here at Rainbow Mind.
All members of the LGBTQ+ community are invited, whether you identify with an individual letter of the acronym, more than one or are unsure of how you identify.
Thank you and we look forward to seeing you,
