In an event hosted by Dr Danny O’Connor, the Colm Tóibín Lecturer in Creative Writing, come and hear from the winners and runners up of our Liverpool Literary Festival short story competition.
The theme this year was ‘anniversaries.’ Which dates pivot the year? Anniversaries bring their different meanings, and in our Festival’s 10th anniversary year we asked entrants to write a short story of no more than 1,500 words in any genre, which was then published in an online anthology.
This free event is sponsored by Liverpool ONE and the judging panel included Festival Director Professor Greg Lynall, King Alfred Chair in English Literature.
