DIFFERabled are deighted to share Tanya Tenant with the community, who will be offering some key sessions to parents & carers, allowing a deeper understanding of neurotype(s) and how best to support our neurodivergent loved ones.
This session is completed in two parts (two weeks apart) and will cover the following information:
Sensory Needs
This seminar will support families to;
• Consider sensory systems and how effective these may be
• Examine how sensory information may be processed differently
• Discuss how people with Autism may experience different senses
• Suggest practical support strategies
Please note that although this session can be attended by any area in the UK, we are a Scottish charity based in Glasgow. And therefore, there may be discussion around local guidelines, regulations and/or authority.
Who is it for:
Parents and carers of neurodivergent children and young people.
