This session is aimed at anyone who has (or may have in the future) a role within a parish setting, including:
Clergy, Parish Council members, all parish volunteers (including cleaners, pass keepers etc)
Topics covered include:
- Fire Safety Measures - active & passive controls
- Safe & Controlled Fire Evacuation Methods
- Role of Clergy, Staff and Volunteers
- Human Behaviours in emergency situations
Purpose
The session fulfill the responsibility for parishes to train volunteers - which is mandatory.
The requirement for training is generally included in risk assessments for parishes so the training will serve to address this part of action plans, and should help to reduce risk.
Safer Parishes
We encourage you to engage with this valuable training in order to achieve safer places of worship for all. The session is free for attendees. Certificates will be issued to all attending.
