JOIN OUR CS LOCAL SESSIONS - 16 DAYS OF ACTIVISM AGAINST GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE

About this event

The 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is a United Nations ( UN) international campaign that takes place each year. It commences today, 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and ends on 10 December, Human Rights Day worldwide.

The 16 Days of Activism provide opportunities for organisations around the world to call for the prevention and elimination of violence against women and girls.

The UN 2020 global theme for this year is Orange the World: Fund, Respond, Prevent, Collect

White Ribbon Day 2020 also takes place today, Wednesday 25 November 2020 and across the UK people will stand up, speak out and say no to violence against women.

Join our events over the next few days and hear from a range of exciting guest speakers sharing their experiences and their work. Wear something orange, wear a white ribbon if you can, to support this year’s theme.
