Participants will:

- Learn how to assess when it’s time to move or diversify onto new channels.
- Explore alternative platforms and emerging spaces for building awareness, engaging communities and driving support.
- Gain practical steps to plan and execute a smooth migration while keeping audiences engaged.
Course outline
- Why Platform Migration Matters: Learn how changes in algorithms, ownership, or user behaviour can impact engagement, and why having a multi-platform strategy is crucial.
- Understanding the Alternatives: Explore established and emerging channels - from TikTok to Threads - and how they can support different goals.
- Planning a Migration Strategy: Discover how to prepare content, audiences, and teams for a seamless shift - maintaining momentum and keeping supporters engaged.
- Measuring Success Post-Migration: Understand how to track audience growth, engagement levels, and campaign performance on new platforms.
This event is fully funded for VCSE groups & organisations in Gloucestershire.

To enable as many groups & organisations to access this course, we limit bookings to two per organisation. If you would like to book more than two spaces, please email bookings@glosvcsalliance.org.uk and we will aim to accomodate individual needs where possible.
