This presentation was for C-TAG members / WARP leads only, but has been extended to all, and is workshop based with an intro scene setting presentation. Does the UK Public sector need to help with cyber security?
Background: From a C-TAG survey earlier this year, this review of what people wanted C-TAG to deliver developed. Is it a national or regional centre or with a focus on monitoring and sharing of threats, allowing with a response, and possibly of professional managed service, are there alternatives, or other cost effective means of better cyber security.
Now: There is a growing interest in central SOCs (Security Operation Centres), there is research work by LoTI (London office of Technical and Innovation), MHCLG and PSN, this work feeds in to these bits of work, but also strongly seeks the views of WARP members up and down the country on this top and other related ideas.
