Ask Alison your questions over the phone or by Skype and get tips for how to grow your career.

These sessions our for members who are 18+

All career advice sessions for the foreseeable future will be held over the phone or via Skype. When you book the session you will be asked to choose either of the above two options.

Please be aware that we have limited space on our Spotlight career advice 121 sessions. Therefore, members are limited to one session a year with one facilitator, this means that we can offer this service to as many members as possible.

Important information before booking

Before booking:

You will need to use the Performer View PIN and your Spotlight registered email address to book this session. If you cannot locate your View PIN, please contact our Membership Support Team on questions@spotlight.com

Please have your Skype username or phone number ready to enter when completing your ticket confirmation. If you do not have this, we may not be able to change this and you could then miss your session. If you need to make any changes or have any questions on the day, please email membership@spotlight.com

Should you have any accessibility requirements such as BSL interpretation please email membership@spotlight with details as soon as you can.

Spotlight’s career advice sessions are advisory. Advice will only be given in areas relating to the career and professional development of the performer.

All decisions made and actions taken are the responsibility of the performer.

Spotlight’s career advice sessions are not a substitute for other forms of professional, consultative or mental health support such as counselling, therapy, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, mental health care or substance abuse treatment.

Information shared within the session will be kept confidential and information will be managed in line with data protection laws.

You understand that ahead of the session, the individual running your session may review your Spotlight profile to help guide the session and ensure you gain the most value out of the allotted time.

Your information collected in this form will not be used for any other purposes by Spotlight.

After the session has taken place you agree to delete the Skype or phone number details of the Spotlight member of staff.

You confirm that if under 18, you will have a parent/guardian accompany you in the session, and Spotlight reserves the right to withdraw from the session if this condition is not met.

Spotlight does not record these sessions, and would never record a session without your consent, and participants must not do the same. This is to ensure honesty, transparency and confidentiality of the sessions.
