As part of Edinburgh Zoo's Christmas Nights, families will have the opportunity to visit Santa his festive Grotto. Each family will have five- minutes slots to meet Father Christmas, hear about his tales from the North Pole and receive an early festive surprise!
Our festive grotto is on the Edinburgh Zoo’s Christmas Nights trail, located adjacent to our main lawn. Please allow 20 minutes from your entry time to make your booked slot.
Please note this is an add-on to your tickets for Edinburgh Zoo's Christmas Nights, you must purchase tickets for the evening event along with your tickets to Santa's Grotto. Each ticket purchased for Santa’s Grotto is per child. Adults are not required to book a ticket, however, we ask there are no more than two adults per party.
To help keep everyone as safe as possible, Santa will be socially distanced. A photo opportunity is still allowed, just from a distance!
Please arrive at Santa's Grotto no more than five minutes before your chosen time slot. As this will be hosted in an indoor area, face coverings will be required in line with current Scottish Government guidance.
The Grotto is available to book on event evenings from 19 November – 24 December. Friday 10 December is an adults only night, and as such our Grotto will not be running.
