Will there be children in this show?

Yes! This is to showcase the ballet work our young ballerinas have been practicing - including the baby ballerinas!

Is there reserved seating?

Families of the ballerinas have the first two rows reserved. The rest of the seating is at a first come first served basis, so please arrive on time for a decent seat.

Is there a bar onsite?

No, however you are able to pre-order your refreshments once you've secured your tickets.

Pointe Black’s young ballerinas (aged 18 months – 15 years) will celebrate 5 years of Pointe Black productions! They'll be revisiting some of the favourite stories we've told over the years.

The Pointe Black Company will also be showcasing an one act piece, reflecting on how much we have overcome with a perspective on our civil rights story.

Pointe Black is a ballet company for people of Black heritage, providing a place for the Black community to be ballerinas without discrimination or judgment, whilst campaigning for racial equity in the art. Dancers start from 18 months old, and have no age ceiling, celebrating that ballet is for everyBODY.
