Need to cool off after Christmas and New Year? Hanningfield is providing a campfire and bushcraft event just for adults, including the chance to cook over the fire, use tools for craft, and be the first to enjoy the great outdoors in 2026. This will be a great opportunity to relax and chat in a quiet setting and shake off the post-Christmas chaos.
🌍Where are you based?
We are located in Mid-Essex, local to Chelmsford, Ingatestone, Billericay, Wickford, South Woodham Ferrers, and Basildon.
🚗Is there parking?
Yes. We have a large free car park.
🚇Can we get to you on public transport?
We are accessible by bus, with bus stops outside the centre and 10 minutes away. We are not accessible by train.
🚻Are there toilets?
Toilets are located inside the visitor centre.
☕Is there a Cafe or shop?
The visitor centre has a shop and café serving hot and cold drinks, snacks, ice cream, and light lunches.
🐕🦺Can we bring a dog?
Assistance dogs are welcome at our events.
♿Is it wheelchair accessible?
Our reserve pathways are flat and easy to push wheelchairs, but our activities mound can be slippery, which could make it difficult to push wheelchairs up.
