Event description
How do we put mental health at the heart of our recovery from the pandemic?

About this event

in partnership with Mental Health Foundation

The COVID-19 pandemic has demonstrated how central our mental health is to our lives. People have experienced loss, disadvantage, discrimination and redundancy. We have an opportunity to put mental health at the heart of decisions on how we recover and move forward – from personal decisions to policy decisions by local and national governments. But who will take the lead and how fundamental will this prioritisation be?

Chair: Gillian Martin MSP, Health, Social Care and Sport Committee

Panellists:

Mark Rowland, Chief Executive of the Mental Health Foundation

Shruti Jain, Chair of Board, Saheliya

Taking place over five days, our free online panel sessions allow you to have your say and debate if the world has gone past its tipping point or if it can be saved through science, technology and innovative action. Themed around the United Nations’ Sustainable Goals, we will also explore the impact of climate on other issues such as poverty and inequality.
