This 2 ½ hr workshop shares learning about the impact of COVID and things to consider to enable people to engage in activities post COVID. It also gives participants opportunities to share their experiences so we can all learn about what might work going forward.
• To have an overview of the impact of COVID on people living with dementia and their carers.
• To gain an understanding of the barriers and challenges for people living with dementia of re-engaging with services post COVID.
• To examine what groups can do to enable people to re-engage with services post COVID.
This training is free. Sessions are limited to 16 participants. Organisations may send more than one participant: these must be registered separately and if there is excess demand, a cap of two participants per organisation may be applied. If you would like to organise a video conference session for your whole group at a different time, please email dementiatraining@agescotland.org.uk
The session will take place via video conference and the joining instructions will be sent to you in advance of the session.
