Event description
Mental health after Brexit? From psychosis to borderline personality disorders

About this Event

We would like to warmly invite you to join us at the 18th Latest Advances in Psychiatry Symposium, organised on behalf of the International Society for Affective Disorders (ISAD) and the journal Progress in Neurology and Psychiatry (Wiley).

Our Early Bird Rate of £170 + VAT (£204) expires on the 15th February. We would therefore like to invite you to take advantage of this offer, as from the 16th February the rate will increase to £185 + VAT (£222).

Once again the event will be held at the Royal College of Physicians, Regent’s Park in London and the theme is: Mental health after Brexit? From psychosis to borderline personality disorders.

This year we are delighted to have the keynote lecture on the ‘Mental health and well-being among medical students and doctors – international findings’ by Professor Dinesh Bhugra, King’s College, London. Other excellent speakers at the event include Professor David Baldwin, Professor Mike Crawford, Professor Sir John Strang and Professor Eileen Joyce. Key topics include: generalised anxiety disorder, severe personality disorder, the opioid overdose crisis and the future of neurosurgery for severe mental illness.

The conference is intended to be part of a structured CPD programme - so the objective is to provide you with independent, up-to-date, practical information that will help you achieve your personal CPD objectives and aid decision-making in your everyday clinical practice. The day will be equivalent to five hours educational activity.
