Step back in time to 1938 when Bellahouston Park hosted the Empire Exhibition, a colossal modernist celebration of industry, architecture and engineering which attracted 13 million visitors. James Winnett will guide you around the sites where the buildings once stood aided by archival material and digital imagery.
Please be aware that this is a walking tour of the park so please wear appropriate footwear and be aware you will be standing and walking for the full tour. This talk is part of the South Side Fringe Heritage Programme.
