Discover Watercolour Painting: 3-week Watercolour Course
Overview
Join us for a series of watercolour workshops where we will explore various subjects andpaper textures. Experimenting with different subjects and surfaces will allow you to tap into your creativity and explore what you enjoy painting the most. Each workshop will bring a unique experience and will help you to refine your skills.
Week 1 - Sunday, 12th April | 13:00 - 16:00
In this workshop we will explore a watercolour landscape and we will work with cold pressed watercolour paper.
Week 2 - Sunday, 19th April | 13:00 - 16:00
In this workshop we will explore watercolour illustrations, focusing on fruit arrangements and we will work with hot pressed watercolour paper.
Week 3 - Sunday, 26th April | 13:00 - 16:00
In this workshop we will explore watercolour florals and we will work with rough textured watercolour paper.

- 100% cotton watercolour paper
- Artist-quality watercolour paint

- A take-home pack featuring a beautifully designed A5 booklet covering the course subjects, essential techniques, and colour theory, plus a handy colour mixing guide and sturdy artwork wallet to keep your creativity flowing even when you are not painting.
- Light refreshments - biscuits, crisps, fruit, water, coffee and tea.
Come along on your own or with a friend - there’s no pressure either way. The sessions are calm and welcoming, with space to chat if you feel like it, or just quietly get lost in the painting process.

About the Host: Wiktoria Anna is an artist and teacher passionate about making watercolours approachable for beginners. Her sessions blend creativity, wellbeing, and fun, helping people switch off, feel inspired, and gain confidence in their own artistic abilities.
About the Venue: Cosy studio space located in Jesmond, just a 5-minute walk from West Jesmond metro station. Convenient on-street parking is also available. Please arrive 5 minutes before the event.
