Orange Beak Studio presents an online talk and Q&A with author and illustrator Marc Martin

Join us for an evening with award-winning author and illustrator, Marc Martin.

Marc was born in France but is now based in Melbourne, Australia where he lives with his family and pet cat. He is the author-illustrator of several award winning books including A Forest, A River, Everything & Everywhere and Masters of Disguise. He has twice been awarded Best Illustrated Picture Book by The New York Times, for A River in 2017 and for We Are Starlings in 2023. Other works include Dawn: Watch the World Awaken and All About Antarctica.

In addition to his writing, Marc has worked on many commercial projects and his illustrations have been commissioned by clients including Monocle, Wired, The Financial Review, GQ, Telstra, The Australian Open Tennis Championships, The Australian Centre for the Moving Image, and various publishers.

We look forward to hearing about Marc’s work creating beautiful picture books, his journey and process through illustration and what inspires his work. Following the talk there will be an audience Q&A opportunity.

The event will be held online via ZOOM - the link will be sent to you directly via email on the day of the talk around 5pm UK time.

All tickets are £16 INCLUSIVE of the booking fee - and are non-refundable.

The event is LIVE - but buying a ticket will give you access to a recording which will be available to view back for one week afterwards. You will be sent a link for this the day after the event.
