Arts Well champions the role of the arts and creativity in promoting health and wellbeing. It works with organisations, large and small, to develop projects and programmes that respond to identified needs. We run networking sessions, training and professional development workshops for anyone interested in the relationship between creativity and health and wellbeing.

Arts Well: Grow is a programme of development for people interested in arts, health and wellbeing. Sessions will be delivered by Jayne Howard, Director of Arts Well CIC, who has over 15 years experience of working in arts and health.

Join Jayne Howard for a friendly introduction to Creative Health. Discover what creative health is, why it matters now more than ever, and the many ways you can get involved—whether you’re curious, creative, or already working in health and wellbeing.This interactive online session will include time for questions, discussion, and shared reflection, creating space to explore ideas, learn from others, and connect with a growing creative health community.Who is this event for?This session is open to anyone with an interest in creativity and health, including:<ul><li>Artists and creatives</li><li>Health, care and wellbeing practitioners</li><li>Community organisers and leaders</li><li>Policymakers and funders</li><li>Anyone curious about creative approaches to health</li></ul>What you’ll gain<ul><li>A clear understanding of what creative health is and why it matters</li><li>Insight into how creativity can support health and wellbeing in different settings</li><li>Opportunities to ask questions and take part in discussion</li><li>Ideas for how you might get involved or take your interest further</li></ul>The session is led by Jayne Howard, Director of Arts Well CIC, who brings over 20 years’ experience working in arts and health at both operational and strategic levelsand is known for creating thoughtful, inclusive learning spaces. As well as leading Arts Well, Jayne is also Programme Manager at the National Centre for Creative Health, a Fellow of the School for Social Entrepreneurs and of the Royal Society of Arts, and an Associate Member of the Royal Society for Public Health.Participants consistently describe these sessions as practical, generous and inspiring:“The workshops were educational, practical and enlightening.
