Writing funding bids and applications
Overview
Join Jayne Howard for a practical and supportive online session designed to help you feel more confident and skilled in writing funding bids and applications.
This session offers clear, step-by-step guidance on navigating different types of funding, researching and choosing the right funder for your project, and structuring a strong, compelling funding bid. Through shared learning and discussion, you’ll explore how to communicate your ideas clearly and persuasively, helping your project—and your organisation—stand out.
The session is led by Jayne Howard, Director of Arts Well CIC, who brings over 20 years’ experience working in arts and health at both operational and strategic levels. Jayne is known for creating thoughtful, inclusive learning spaces and, alongside leading Arts Well, is Programme Manager at the National Centre for Creative Health, a Fellow of the School for Social Entrepreneurs and the Royal Society of Arts, and an Associate Member of the Royal Society for Public Health.
Participants consistently describe these sessions as practical, generous and inspiring:
“The workshops were educational, practical and enlightening. They were a great place to learn.”
“Really useful information and advice. Focusing, positive and galvanising.”
“Very informative and beautifully delivered. Outstanding!”
“Great to have all the information and links sent through afterwards. Very generous.”
Sessions take place on Zoom, with small groups of 4–16 participants, allowing plenty of time for questions, discussion and reflection, with a strong emphasis on helping you put your learning into practice.
To make the sessions as accessible as possible, they are available at a range of price points, including a donation option, so everyone can take part whatever their circumstances.
