Allies eg., Parents, Partner or support eg p.a are welcome to attend alongside you.

About this Event at Gamers Cage
This will be a session at The Gamers Cage near Harlow Town Library, PACT for Autism registered people may attend only, this is due to restricted spaces and insurance purposes.
Our Support team will be there for a chat and signposting over a cuppa.
Please book your ticket to reserve your place for each person attending these are £3.50 per person , which includes booking fee. Allies / support tickets are free.

Our Gamers Session for Autistic young people / adults over 16 years to attend.
If under 18 then an adult / Parent / Ally must attend the session with you and remain in the venue at all times.
If over 18 then if needed/ wanted another adult is welcome for free alongside you be that a Parent / Carer /P.a or Ally
Staff from PACT will be available to talk to.
A space for Parents / Carers/P.a's to get a cuppa and chat to each other and our team while the Gamers enjoy their session.
If you are new to PACT, these sessions are the perfect way to get what you need and find out what we’re about or to connect with others.

Gamers cage is located in the same building as Q Entertainment - Quasar Harlow, next to Harlow Library.
Nearest parking - Water gardens or Harvey Centre , there are also some additional free blue badge bays near Harlow Playhouse.

Go in the entrance and then up the stairs.
There are toilets in the venue , including a disabled toilet.
If you would like to visit the Gamers cage, for a look around ahead of the event, to familiarise yourself and your young person with the environment, or if you need to arrange wheelchair access/level access due to difficulty using stairs then please contact them directly on 01279 445444
What Happens
We have a download for you to print for your Young person on what happens at Gamers, this includes photos of the venue.
- Session opens at 7pm - If you arrive before this time, PACT staff may not be avaliable but you are welcome to use the venue facilities for example - pool table and various machines, most of which take £1 coins.
- PACT Team will be waiting to check you in at 7pm - we will have a list of names people booked on so no need to bring proof of booking.
- PACT team are available to chat to and will move around the venue.
- There are tables and chairs for you to choose a base.
- The Gaming space will be open for you from 7pm - 8pm and a staff member from Gamers Cage is avaliable to support you with the consoles or understanding the game if you wish.
- If under 18 or if needed a responsible adult must remain on site for the duration of the session. .
- A table of Lego is also avaliable.
- We will give a five minute warning before the session ends. Please leave the Gaming area at this time , you are welcome to remain in the venue.

Up to 12 people can game at any one time, with flexibility. There is a café with a relaxed seating area selling hot and cold drinks and light snacks.
You can arrive at the venue and access the cafe and arcade area from 6pm , but you will not be able to begin Gaming until 7pm as there will a younger group gaming from 6pm - 7pm.
If you wish to play pool or any of the arcade machine you will need some £1 coins.

Asda or Harvey centre Car parks are nearest, the Taxi rank and bus terminal are within 5 minutes walk. Limited number of free blue badge bays near Harlow playhouse.
