This workshop analyses what it takes to be a good interviewer/interviewee. We will discuss the skills and qualities needed for these roles, view good and bad examples of interviewing, and learn how to prepare a short interview in pairs/small groups.
Some participants will have the opportunity to practice an interview which will be recorded and played back with helpful critique.
Knowing how to come across as an interesting interviewee, and understanding how to get the most out of an interview situation are invaluable tools that can be applied to a variety of situations, from formal interview to informal, in business communication and panels.These skills are universal.
Whether for formal media broadcasts, corporate video communications, or high-stakes panels, knowing how to come across as engaging, authoritative, and authentic is an invaluable professional tool.
