Join us for an evening with publisher Claudia Bedrick.

Claudia Bedrick is the publisher, editor and art director of Enchanted Lion Books. She started this award-winning independent publisher in 2003. It is based in Brooklyn, New York. After graduating from Harvard/Radcliffe Claudia spent a decade traveling around East & Central Europe and the countries of the former Soviet Union working with libraries and universities while attending graduate school classes in the history of philosophy. Under Claudia’s leadership, Enchanted Lion has won the Mildred L. Batchelder Award multiple times recognising excellence in translation for children's books. Titles Claudia has worked on include Bear & Wolf, Bertold, I Forgot How to Sleep, and many others.
