Description

The 3rd London East Asia Film Festival opens on 25th October 2018 at Vue Leicester Square with the premiere screening starring Actor Kim Yoon-seok. There will be a strand dedicated to Korea's most renowned actor, Kim Yoon-seok following the screening. LEAFF presents action, thriller and drama from the actor followed by Q&As and talks.

Synopsis:

Park Jong-chul, a student activist who participated in pro-democracy demonstrations against the regime was tortured to death during interrogation sessions. This in return triggered a series of student-led protests against the regime. At first the authorities wish to conceal the death of Park Jong-chul, however a group of citizens fight for the truth in order to bring about long-awaited justice.
