South Coast Summer Action Gathering
Join us as we bring together groups across the South East and South West in Bournemouth
About this event
The Summer Action Gathering is more than just another meeting - it’s the beginning of something much bigger. This is where we start building a people‑powered environmental justice movement capable of shaping the future we all deserve?
We are seeing the world change in real time. And we know the future has to be fairer, greener, and rooted in justice — with everyone included, not just the loudest or the luckiest. But to get there, we need you - your experience, your energy, your ideas. Friends of the Earth has always been strongest when it’s driven from the grassroots up. No one understands how to turn local action into real change better than you.
So join us for a day of thinking, planning, imagining — and yes, a bit of dreaming too. A new Friends of the Earth is taking shape, and we want you right at the heart of it.
Why attend?
- Help shape a bold new vision for Friends of the Earth — one that’s ready for the challenges ahead
- Hear inspiring stories from campaigns and groups across our network
- Share ideas, pick up new skills, and strengthen your local work
- Reconnect with colleagues and allies across the South West and South East
