What is Connect 5?

Connect 5 is a structured mental health training programme made up of three modules that build on each other. Backed by the Five Ways to Wellbeing and evidence-based theory, Connect 5 helps you:

  • Gain the confidence, skills, and tools to have effective mental wellbeing conversations
  • Increase your resilience and ability to support others
  • Improve your own understanding of mental health and wellbeing
  • Promote healthier, more open workplaces and communities

Why Attend?

Participants have described the training as:
⭐ “Inspiring”
⭐ “Valuable”
⭐ “Empowering”

By the end of Module 1, you’ll feel more equipped to start important conversations and contribute to a culture that values mental wellbeing.

✅ What You’ll Learn in Module 1:

  • The importance of mental wellbeing in everyday life
  • How to spot early signs of stress or distress
  • How to respond with empathy and signpost appropriately
  • How to take care of your own mental health

Each module lasts approximately 3 hours. Modules 2 and 3 will be offered separately, and may vary slightly in duration.
