Rooted Again London: Community Meetup — Thursday 28 May (3:00–4:30pm)
A weekday afternoon gathering in a relaxed lounge setting near Paddington — real conversation, then happy hour for those who want to stay.
About This Event
We are meeting at Pilgrim Lounge, a relaxed cafe-bar near Paddington Station, for an intimate Rooted Again meetup on a Thursday afternoon — followed by happy hour there or at a nearby spot, whichever the group prefers.
The structured meetup runs 3:00–4:30pm. Please arrive on time — this is when the depth happens. What follows is relaxed and open-ended.
What to Expect
We keep these gatherings small and intimate — a maximum of 10 people — so that real conversation is actually possible.
The structured part of the meetup opens with a brief round of introductions, then moves into facilitated discussion around themes of relocation, rebuilding, community, and life transition. This is where the depth happens, and it requires everyone to arrive on time.
After the structured part, we continue more casually — a walk, happy hour, or simply more conversation. You are welcome to stay for as long as you like.
No agenda. No networking. No performance. Just real conversation with women who understand what starting over actually feels like.
The Venue
Pilgrim Lounge, 25 London St, London W2 1HH — a short walk from Paddington station. A relaxed lounge cafe-bar well suited to conversation.

After the Meetup
After the structured session wraps up at 4:30pm, the group will continue into happy hour — either at Pilgrim or at a nearby spot, depending on what the group feels like. You are welcome to stay or head off after the structured session.
Who This Is For
This meetup is for you if:
- You have relocated to London (recently or in the past few years)
- You are done with small talk and ready for real conversation
- You want genuine friendships, not just networking contacts
- You are navigating transitions — career, identity, motherhood, purpose
- You live in or near West London or Central London
About Rooted Again London
Rooted Again is a neuroscience-backed peer community helping relocated women rebuild the three roots of sustainable wellness:
RECONNECTION: Genuine friendships and belonging, not networking
REORIENTATION: Purpose and identity clarity beyond roles and achievements
REGULATION: Nervous system restoration through community, nature, and rest
Founded by Dr. Marilyn Cyr, a neuroscientist and psychologist who relocated from Montreal to New York to London while navigating career transitions, motherhood, and starting over multiple times. She built Rooted Again because she needed it — and because she knows she is not the only one.
