Open to all and free of charge. Please ensure to book via Eventbrite to secure your place. Workshops are limited to 3 people per session. Sessions will run at 12pm, 1pm and 2pm. All materials will be included. The workshop will be taking place at 13 Ross Street (The Telfer Gallery).
As part of MANY's Ross Street Market Christmas Launch Event, we are hosting a series of festive craft workshops with Mobile Print Studio. The workshop will allow participants of all levels to create unique festive wood-carved stamps, which will be used to create beautiful festive cards. The stamps themselves will be Christmas decorations that can be taken away from the workshop.
Mobile Print Studio is a small business operating within Glasgow and the surrounding area. MoPS are passionate about printmaking and want to make this art form more accessible. Their workshops introduce lesser known techniques to those who otherwise may not know of them outside of a specialist environment. Workshops range from screenprinting, drypoint etching, collagraph to woodcut, linocut and monoprint.

The workshop is part of MANY STUDIOS Ross Street Market launch and Christmas Party running from 11am - 5pm on Sat 17 Dec. MANY STUDIOS has been working with the two 5th year students at University of Strathclyde to design and build unique market stalls ahead of our launch of Ross Street Market outside MANY STUDIOS, becoming part of the historic outdoor Barras Market. We hope you’ll join us on Saturday 17 December to open the market - find some unique Christmas presents at the market and enjoy a wide range of activities throughout the day!
In addition to the free craft workshops, we will host a free storytelling session at 12pm with Seeds of Thought and a free singing workshop (tickets) with Mema Arts at 1pm.
We have fantastic stall holders open from 11am - 5pm, with delicious food from McCune Smith & MalaCarne, arts & fashion with Mo Mofana Designs, Edison Clothing, Form + Balance & Arboretum. Keep an eye on our Website, Facebook and Twitter for updates.
