About a year ago some colleagues (who had also become good friends) (@beaker9, @johnbracey and @aduabinns) and I (@Sasha_Taylor) met up at the Warwick Beer Festival with the aim of sampling some great local beer and meeting up socially rather that professionally. But inevitably (given our jobs) the conversation turned to social media and other webby topics.
A few months later @Beaker9 and I went to the Robin Hood Beer Festival in Nottingham where we decided that beer festivals would be a good forum to combine two of our passions - drinking beer and discussing webby things.
We're sure there are other like-minded people out there who would enjoy discussing the world of social media and the internet over a beer so we've decided to extend a virtual invitation to you to join us at our next get-together.
Further details of the event is below - tickets are to show that you are attending and do not get you into the Thurrock Beer Festival or cover the beer that you drink :-)
