Actions and Detail Panel
1st Levantine Heritage Foundation social networking evening in London
Thu 29 June 2017, 18:00 – 21:00 BST
In helping to reconstruct the life and times of the past, we have to use what tools the vagaries of time have provided
us with. In Levantine studies, the displacement in time and space over generations often means the family heirlooms, photographs and documents can be scant and sometimes the text can be in foreign languages, adding to the
challenge. This event is intended to provide ideas and inspiration to our community through bringing and sharing
these mementos and items of conversation to help in our communal quest to better understand the ways of our
fore-bears, and perhaps better understand our own culture.
