Welcome to our 2 day Trouser dressmaking course. On this class you will be taught the skills required to create your perfect Trousers. Patterns that we will be using on this class will be in the images below. Please make sure you purchase one with your ticket as you will be getting a special price for this course!Please note: All dress patterns are measured in American sizes. If you need any help figuring out which size to pick, please ask the ladies in store by giving us a call on 01206563955 or popping in.
Please make sure you choose the correct size when checking out:
Simplicity 9955 : K5 (8-16) + Y5 (18-26)
Butterick 6944 : B5 (8-16) + F5 (16-24)
New Look 6769 : A ( All Sizes)
Simplicity 9926 : AA (10-18) + BB (20W-28W)
At the start of the course, our tutor will get you to fill out a measurement form and get you started on the correct size. Next you will be cutting your fabric! Please make sure you bring enough fabric with you for your pattern as you will need to pre-purchase this before your class. If you are not sure what fabric is suitable, we recommend cottons, linens, denim or anything that isn’t stretchy. There are additional notions that you will need to finish off your garments which can either be purchased on the day of your course or bought all together when buying your fabrics.
Once everything is cut, it’s time to assemble! We do recommend that you have some knowledge of the sewing machine if you wish to book onto this class.
