We have two amazing days planned, packed full of education and motivation. Our 2 full days together will be fully supported, you will get drinks, refreshments and lunch both days, and also on both days our own Personal Trainer Stuart will take us through a daily workout, designed to challenge you in new ways, whatever level of fitness you are, complete novice or seasoned fitness fan, Stuart will bring you something new and different.
We all know what to do…but we don’t always do what we know
Over the years, in my personal experience, I’ve learned that 'the education' is really only half the story – we all know we should be eating healthy food, abstaining from bad habits and making time to exercise – but in so many cases, we are not doing it. For so many of us, motivation is the other half of the equation. Motivation doesn’t always mean leaping around grinning like a Cheshire cat rushing from one thing to the next. Often times motivation means not giving in to weak moments, not allowing yourself to be distracted from the pursuit of your long-term goals, when short-term hassles come along and upset your day. It’s an all-too-common problem.
The first of our 2 days together is ‘all about your reason why’ and finding out what drives and motivates you, so that you do make the right choices, to nourish and strengthen your body. This event is purposefully niche, keeping our Group small so that we have time to work on our own and each other’s personal driving forces.
Working through a greatly expanded version of the ‘Wheel of Health’ which you will surely remember from the 1-day seminar, I will help you to identify your personal strengths and weaknesses, looking at your goals, your diet and lifestyle factors. We will find those problem areas for you, and plan the best way for you to overcome those challenges. Throughout the day, I will help you develop your own plan for going forward, focused on your own priorities.
Where the action happens - the 12 Core Principles
Having looked at ‘your reason why’ on Day One, during our second day together we will focus on practical details of good nutrition by looking in detail at gut health and the causes of disease. Over the course of Day Two, the learning will be tailored to you, depending on the outcomes from Day One, addressing practical aspects of day-to-day living around nutrition, exercise and lifestyle factors.
During our second day together, we will look back at the weaknesses you identified on Day One, and see how you can apply different aspects of the 12 Core Principles to address those areas and bring balance to your Wheel of Health.
Over the whole weekend, we will address many of the topics that regularly come under question – what is leaky gut, how much alcohol is acceptable in a healthy lifestyle, should I be a vegetarian, what are the links between my diet and my mental health, should we consume dairy, what about red wine, dark chocolate, and how many eggs is safe in a week!
Saturday 20th February 2016
8:30 to 8:45 – arrival and registration. Please allow time for parking, we will be serving hot and cold drinks on your arrival, from 8:30, and your day will start with a friendly ‘meet and greet’ and a brief introduction to our plans for the 2 days, starting at 9am. Free parking is available at the hotel and conference venue.

Late morning, we will take a break and change into comfortable clothes and Stuart will lead us through an exercise session, which will be designed in a way that suits everyone, at every level of strength or fitness. So whether you are a complete stranger to exercise, or as fit as a fiddle, Stuart and I will ensure we give you a workout that is appropriate for you, and as testing as you want it to be.
13:15 to 14:00 (Time approx.) Lunch – After freshening up, a healthy nutritious lunch will be provided. Lunch will be based on healthy salads, there will be vegetarian options, and no bread or sugar or rubbish!
Day One – Afternoon Session
Your Wheel of Health as a personal road map
Identify your strengths and weakness, so we can focus on working on those areas that need it most
Create specific goals to work on
During our afternoon workshop we will take your Wheel of Health which was introduced to you in the 1-day Seminar, and work through the full version of the exercise, in a way that helps you identify the areas for you personally that you need to work on.
We will finish between 5pm and 6pm on Saturday, so that we all have time to use the hotel facilities available. For all guests staying at the hotel, we can use the pool, sauna and steam room for a little active relaxation while we reflect on our day.
“Oh my, put on a swimming costume in front of my MND friends!!! But I’m so big, I’m overweight, they’ll see my man boobs, my beer belly, my love handles…I’m out of shape, I have bingo wings, I’ve had several babies, I have cellulite!!!!!” – Yes, I know that you may be thinking these things! Relax, you are among friends, and no one is judging you, and this weekend workshop is designed to challenge you and stretch your comfort zones remember!
After a break to relax in your room and freshen up, we will have an informal evening meal in the hotel restaurant from around 7:30pm, with an aim to finish early and give you plenty of time to have 8 hours peaceful, nourishing, restorative sleep.

06:30 – Meet in reception for a gentle morning walk outside before breakfast. The hotel is set in 54 acres of private lands including woodlands and a lake, so we should have plenty of space for a nice walk before breakfast!
Breakfast will be provided in the hotel restaurant as part of your overnight B&B accomodation.

Late morning, again Stuart will lead us through an exercise session for all abilities, to help us all work up an appetite for lunch.

Our afternoon will be built around YOUR weak areas that we identify at the end of Day One
We will explore these weaknesses and use the 12 Core Principles of MotherNaturesDiet to fix those problem areas and strengthen your progress towards your goals
Bringing it all together so you leave feeling inspired and invigorated, with a plan of action and new friends to help and support you all the way
Circa 17:30 We will wrap up our weekend together at around 5:30pm on Sunday, so you have plenty of time to travel home to see loved ones.

Your ticket price does not include your Saturday night B&B accommodation at the hotel. Norton Park Hotel is a lovely hotel; you will need to book a room in order to stay overnight and join us for dinner and breakfast and to use the pool, sauna and steam room. Rooms at Norton Park start at around £100 per night for a double room with breakfast. Dinner on Saturday evening at Norton Park will be the only other additional cost.

I have a demanding career, 3 young kids and I make time to workout every day. Working 16 hours per day on that lot, 7 days per week, is my norm, every week, every month, year after year.
I work hard and play hard but I don't run out of energy and I never get sick. In my own journey, I have transformed my own life. I've lost exactly 101 pounds of body fat (that's 7 stone 3, or 46 kilos), I've built 29 pounds of muscle, I've put behind me 20+ years of smoking, years of heavy drinking, recreational drug use and decades of sedentary behaviour and poor food choices, and gone on to run 14 marathons and ultramarathons, cycle John O'Groats to Land's End, fly eagles, jump out of aeroplanes and climb mountains. I've beaten years of obesity, addictions, a broken back, allergies and bad skin conditions, and now at 45 years of age I am in the best shape of my life, and more full of energy and vitality than ever before.
I now never run out of energy, never get sick, and I put more drive, passion and determination into life than almost anyone else I have ever met.
