Who is this course for?

Developed by Thermal Earth, this course is suited for candidates with the relevant pre-requisites, but little experience in the installation of solid fuel appliances and flues.

The two day course offers candidates the 'hands-on' experience in the installation of solid fuel appliances. Candidates will join the HETAS trainer in our practical zone to fit a solid fuel appliance from stove to flue. Candidates will be required to install a flue system on our simulated roof top.

This course will build on theory delivered in the H003DS Dry Appliance Installer course and equip candidates with the practical know-how.

Qualification

Successful delegates will receive a Thermal Earth certificate of competence (HETAS Certification imminent).

COVID-19 Precautions

The Thermal Earth Training Academy has recently undergone a full refurbishment to increase the size of the facility and create a safe 2m distance between course attendees. Each course is limited to just 6 spaces so that trainees can benefit from a more personable learning experience, held in a safe environment supported by temperature checks and robust cleaning procedures. Trainees also have access to separate facilities for refreshment breaks, away from on-site employees to reduce contact with others.
