Blacks in Mathematics & Science: Work book 2
This is the second title in the Blacks in Mathematics & Science :Work Book series. This book has been designed to get children thinking, using independent thought. It also tests both their retention and understanding of STEM based topics.
Blacks in Mathematics & Science: Work book 2 is broken down into three sections, they are: Science, Mathematics and a splash of Financial Literacy.
The science lab experiments in the science section are safe and can be performed at school or home using items found at home. They are sure to keep the child engaged whilst having fun. The book pulls from the vast research information which we have gathered and published in the international best-selling Black Scientists & Inventors Book series allowing children to test what they have learnt about both contemporary and historic black scientists and inventors.
The mathematics section draws upon real life sections using simple to more complex maths.
The Financial Literacy section also uses real world situations via case studies. For example a case study which takes the child through the stages of setting up an electronic company. Which allows them to develop the skills in chemistry, physics, mathematics and geography.
This title is ideal for school, supplementary schools and home-schooling. The Blacks in Mathematics & Science: Workbook 2 is a must have and should be on every home bookshelves and school classroom.
