20 Years On: Manchester and the IRA Bomb
Thu 17 November 2016, 19:30 – 21:30 GMT
This free event is part of nationwide Being Human series and is organised by Caroline Magennis (University of Salford) and George Legg (King's College, London) in collaboration with The Irish World Heritage Centre.
This event will feature creative writers, Manchester residents and historians debating the legacy and impact of the 1996 IRA bomb, followed by plenty of time for audience discussion. Full details of speakers and topics will be updated here before the event.
This event is part of the Being Human festival - the UK’s only national festival of the humanities. As our festival events are free, not everyone who asks for tickets come to our events. To make sure we have a full house, we allocate more tickets than there are seats. We do our best to get the numbers right, but unfortunately we occasionally have to disappoint people. Admission is on a first-come-first-served basis, so please arrive in good time for the start of the event.
