Take Me To Your Leader: The Crisis In Leadership In BAME Britain

Courtesy WeCreate Associates

For the 2014 National Union of Journalists Claudia Jones Memorial Lecture speaker Patrick Younge, Founder and Director, WeCreate Associates, will explore the crisis in BAME leadership across Britain; misleadership, ‘leaders’ without accountability and a lack of representation in senior roles across the UK.

Prior to launching WeCreate Associates, Patrick spent over 22 years working across the media industry, in the UK and internationally. He delivered the turn-around of Travel Channel Media (USA) despite the economic downturn, and most recently led the world’s largest TV production business the as Chief Creative Officer of BBC Productions producing global hits such as Dr Who, Strictly Come Dancing, and Top Gear.

In 2007 Patrick was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Television Society and since 2010 has been a 'Powerlister' as one of the 100 most influential black people in Britain.

RSVP to secure your place for this riveting lecture and Q&A.

We look forward to seeing you there.
