The Specsavers everywoman in Retail Ambassador Programme recognises 12 women in retail in allstages of their careers who may be high-performers, inspiring success in others or leading a team like no other.
While 60% of the retail sector are female, a few get to the boardroom. We’re changing the face of retail by exposing girls and women to the career possibilities, let’s bust the myth that retail is simply a job. Previous Ambassadors have hailed from the shop floor all the way through to the boardroom: we recognise that role models don’t always come from the top or from one department.
The 12 chosen Ambassadors will be celebrated at Claridges, where we will showcase what a role model reallylooks like to influencers in the sector and beyond. Becoming an Ambassador will raise their profile and their organisations as we’ll make a commitment to sharing their journeys to inspire girls and women in the sector.
Ambassadors are welcome from all sectors in retail, including: food, fashion, Luxury Brands, home & DIY, electricals, health and beauty, and entertainment.
