Denys Holland Scholarship Dinner
Thursday 10 November 2016
The Denys Holland dinner this year will be held on Thursday 10 November. Due to the refurbishment of the Old Refectory, it will be held in the Haldane Room, off the North Cloisters of UCL. Spaces are limited so please reply early to avoid disappointment. Sparkling wine, courtesy again of Sheila Clark, will be served from 7 pm and dinner will begin at 7.30.
The speaker will be the renowned Maurice Watkins CBE, graduate of UCL Faculty of Laws and now leading authority in the field of sports law. Senior Partner and Head of Sports Law team at Brabners LLP, and President of the British Association for Sport and Law (BASL), Maurice has been Director of Manchester United Football Club, Director of the Rugby Football League, Director of Lancashire Cricket Club, and Chairman of British Swimming, to name but a few of his achievements. It should be a fascinating evening.
I do hope you can join us for what is always a very good evening in aid of a worthwhile cause.
Georgina Butler, Chairman
